My son took a bite of 100% dark chocolate
and cried for half an hour.
In this matter
I was originally an outsider.
But because I, sitting at my desk far away, glanced at him once
I became the target of his continuous accusations.
“Bad daddy, I’m going to throw away all of daddy’s stuff!”
Though I wasn’t the one who unwrapped that chocolate
I didn’t even buy it
But when he needed an outlet
I became that outlet.
“What does this have to do with me??”
“Because you put something in the house that shouldn’t be there. You put such a bad thing next to such a good thing (and that’s why mommy picked the wrong one).”
My daughter murmured from the side:
“I wish a big shark would eat daddy, because he’s so bad.”
